This page is dedicated to Japanese tv superheroes, mostly from the 1970s. These heroes may be humans with special powers (Rainbowman) or cyborgs (Kamen Rider) or androids (Kikaida) or aliens from another world (Zone Fighter), but they have one thing in common, when innocent people are threatened by evil forces they henshin, transform, into their battle form to combat the evil.

          Only a few heroes are shown doing a reverse henshin. Kikaida and Kikaida 01 jump into the air and spin around to revert to Jiro and Ichiro. Zone Fighter, Zone Angel and Zone Junior have the reverse henshin phrase, "Zone Back". Jumborg Ace and Jumborg Nine also have reverse henshin commands: "Flight Return" (Jumborg Ace), "Break Return" and "Quick Return" (Jumborg Nine).
