Golf Wolf in 'human' form

Gold Wolf was one of Doctor Komyoji's unfinished robots, Gold Wolf's conscience circuit was even less complete than Jiro's. Most of the time Gold Wolf appeared more or less human, and, except when under the influence of Professor's Gill's flute, was friendly. [Gold Wolf's human form was played by the late Sakaguchi, Toru who was Akakage in Kamen no Ninja Akakage (1967)].

However, on a night with a full moon Gold Wolf transformed into a monster which was entirly willing to do evil.

Gold Wolf is only the third Dark monster to actually damage Kikaida. The other times Mitsuko was able to repair the damage but this time the blast to Kikaida's chest so severally damaged the mechanical man that only Dr. Komyoji could repair it (even without knowing his own name).

Since Gold Wolf was made by Doctor Komyoji, Gold Wolf was Kikaida's "brother". Kikaida was reluctant to destroy Gold Wolf, doing so when he saw he had no choice. After destroying Gold Wolf, Kikaida cries.

Gold Wolf was originally going to be Scarlet Dog (as mentioned in episode 1).
