19. The Death Beast Helmet Crab Rouge Pays A Visit!
Gil has the Crab out trying to steal the finest emerald
for his new deadly laser. If he can procure a new
emerald, the laser will turn Kikaida into a walking
bomb! Gil plays the flute so Crab can aim the laser at
Kikaida, but he uses a mirror to reflect the beam and
when the machine explodes, it blocks the sound of the
flute. Crab is not long for this world!
Notes: A new girl for Hanpei to fall for. Kikaida knocks
Crabs legs off, and he crawls away threatening Kikaida
the whole time. I kept expecting him to say “‘Tis a flesh
wound!” but he didn’t. Crab interrupts Hanpei’s
shower, and Hanpei still has enough to time to put on
one of Reiko’s dresses and some makeup! Has he
done this before? But he does show some real bravery
in this episode.
